There is something incredibly special about waking up next to the sea, stepping out for a morning run and watching Da Nang slowly come alive. That was our experience at Le Sands Oceanfront Danang, and it ended up being one of the stays we enjoyed most during our time in Da Nang.
What we loved immediately was the location. Le Sands is right on the beachfront, but slightly away from the busier part of Da Nang’s main beach. That makes it feel wonderfully peaceful without making it inconvenient. You get the best of both worlds—a beautiful stretch of beach right outside the hotel and easy access to the rest of Da Nang.
We particularly loved our early mornings here. We would head down to the beach for a run, with the sea beside us and the city still relatively quiet. The beachfront setting makes the hotel feel less like somewhere you simply sleep and more like a proper beach escape. The views, especially early in the morning, were beautiful and gave us some of our favourite moments of the trip.
Then there was the infinity pool. It quickly became one of our favourite spots at the hotel. Sitting by the pool with the ocean stretching out in front of you is exactly what you want from a beachfront stay in Da Nang. Add the pool bar, a drink in hand and nowhere you need to be, and it becomes very easy to lose track of time.
We also spent a lot of time simply enjoying the hotel. We had our meals there, tried different things from the menu and enjoyed the convenience of being able to come back from a day out and simply unwind. There is something particularly nice about having a relaxed meal, a drink by the pool and the ocean just a few steps away.
And the hospitality deserves a special mention. The staff were warm, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, the service had that personal touch that makes a hotel feel comfortable rather than simply luxurious.
What we appreciated most about Le Sands was that it didn’t feel like a resort trying too hard to impress. Instead, it gives you exactly what you want from a Da Nang beach holiday: a beautiful oceanfront location, peaceful mornings, an infinity pool, drinks at the pool bar, good food, warm hospitality and plenty of opportunities to simply slow down.
For us, the perfect day here was surprisingly simple—wake up early, go for a run along the beach, come back for breakfast, spend some time by the infinity pool, enjoy a drink, eat well and watch the sea. Sometimes, that’s all you really need from a holiday!
