Avocado – Yogurt Dip with Jalapeño and Cilantro

Looking for a great everyday snack that also doubles as a fab party dip/appetizer? Well, you’re at the right place then…because today we are making a delicious Avocado – Yogurt Dip with Jalapeño and Cilantro <3

A super easy dip to whip up, you can certainly eat the whole bowl by yourself with some pretzels, crunchy veggies or pita chips.




  • One large peeled avocado – halved, pitted and coarsely chopped
  • One container (16-ounce ) plain yogurt – preferably nonfat
  • Two tsp minced jalapeño
  • Four tbsp of fresh cilantro – finely chopped
  • One small, minced garlic clove
  • One tsp of ground cumin
  • Lime – optional





Put the yogurt in the processor. Put the cumin in a small skillet (must be dry) over medium heat and stir for a minute. Next, add the cumin to the processor, throw in the avocado, cilantro, garlic and jalapeño. Process till mixture is smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. If you love tangy flavours, squeeze half a lemon and mix well. Put this dip in a small bowl. Serve chilled.
